AMTech is the concrete answer to specific training needs of microenterprises and SMEs to grow and become competitive in the aviation industry, more precise in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). The project stems from the demand for specific training tailored to the needs of technicians-to-be,
microenterprises and SMEs.
The European Strategy and Policy Analysis System (ESPAS) clearly states in their report on global trends 2030 that a global trend is the transformative industrial and technological revolution where among others drones play a crucial role in the future.
To meet the trends necessary skills this project will strengthening the sustainable competitiveness and resilience of SMEs working in this area. This project result is specifically designed with these priorities to adapt vocational education and training to labour market needs and more flexible working environments.
The project partners will research industry trends and dynamics to define the professional profile of an AMTech, qualifications and skills set needed and align it with ESCO references. Training needs, required skills as well as capacity gaps have to be identified by the partnership to ensure accuracy and relevance of the training content to be developed by the project, especially in consideration of the target group of users.
