Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zielona Góra

The Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zielona Góra consists of a team of 50 academics in many fields, primarily in the field of mechanics and materials science, production management, production automation, mechatronics and work safety and control. Significant results of scientific research in Mechanical Engineering, which were disclosed in 2022 allowed us to be awarded scientific category A. The Institute of Mechanical Engineering runs three accredited fields of study with an academic profile: Mechanics and Machine Construction; Management and production engineering; Occupational Health and Safety. In 2023, a new field of study in Aeronautical Engineering with a practical profile was launched at IIM, and this position will include two units: Aviation Mechanics and Maintenance and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
